Understanding Battery Efficiency
Battery life is rarely just about capacity (mAh). It is a complex interplay between software optimization, display technology, and processor efficiency. For instance, an OLED display consumes significantly less power when using dark mode, as individual pixels are completely turned off.
Our estimator uses industry-standard power consumption models: Light usage (~200mA), Medium usage (~350mA), and Heavy usage (~600mA), adjusted for display hardware overhead.
